We were thrilled to participate in the conference on the digitalisation of foreign trade being held in Morocco this past June.
This vital event, supported by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), ICC Morocco, ICC Digital Standards Initiative, and the T3i Partner Network, provided an opportunity to meet market leaders and learn about the push for trade digitalization in this emerging market.
“Investments in digital infrastructure and skills are crucial for Morocco to leverage its comparative advantages, such as a young, dynamic labor force and relatively low labor costs,” said Zsoka Koczan, Lead Economist at EBRD.
This transformation is particularly critical as foreign trade accounts for up to 100% of Morocco’s GDP, making the digitalization of trade processes essential for the country's economic development and its corporate leaders.
We are eager to continue supporting Morocco's journey in the digitalization of foreign trade in 2024, further advancing their global activities and mission.
