Global Head of Natural Resources and Infrastructure

Federico Turégano is Global Head of the Natural Resources and Infrastructure Division, part of the Global Banking and Advisory business unit at Société Générale Corporate & Investment Banking, and is responsible for advisory and financing activities in energy, infrastructure, metals/mining and commodities.  

This Division is sector-focused and covers Société Générale’s activities in clean energy finance, LNG finance, digital and broadband finance, electromobility and, generally, energy transition topics. Solutions offered include financial and commercial advisory, reserve-based and structured commodity finance, long-term project finance, as well as trade and commodity finance. It operates out of 15 locations, with hubs in Paris, London, Geneva, New York, Houston, Hong Kong and Singapore.    

Federico Turégano began his career at Société Générale in Chicago in 1990 and has since covered large corporate clients in the US, was Deputy Head of the Financial Engineering team in Paris, was responsible for SG CIB’s Latin American network, was Deputy Head of the Corporates and Institutions Division for the Americas and Head of the Energy Group for the Americas. Federico has held his current position since 2008 and is a member of the Global Banking and Advisory Executive Committee.  

Mr. Turégano has degrees from Boston College and the University of Chicago and is based in New York.
