In February 2023, Komgo introduced Kredit Optimization, an innovative platform enabling market participants to optimize positions through natural hedging without relying on exchanges. This unique tool facilitates triangulation of positions, effectively enabling participants to achieve netting solutions. This allows participants to better manage their counterparty risk and liquidity.
The platform's initial rollout was supported by seven leading market players who contributed to driving early adoption and shaping its strategic direction. Since the launch, the network has expanded significantly, now including over 20 participants, reflecting rapid and widespread growth.
As we celebrate our collective success, we are excited to share three major milestones achieved in 2024:
· Chains of 4 for enhanced match-making capabilities
Netting capabilities have been extended to include up to four counterparties, building on the initial triangulation framework.
The addition of four-party netting has significantly increased the number of matches available to our clients. This advancement empowers participants with greater autonomy and flexibility to flatten positions based on their specific trading activities and portfolios. Users can now match with all active tool participants or involve a single non-active counterparty. Matches can be finalized directly between counterparties with access to the platform or, optionally, with the support of our broker partner for a reduced fee.
· Visibility on additional market data
Users can now access and display the most requested (non-active) counterparties, increasing the likelihood of successful matches.
· Client base growth and U.S. expansion
The platform's client base is steadily increasing; with growth in the U.S. market, further enhancing our global reach.
The Kredit Optimization tool offers a robust preference-setting feature, allowing users to refine matches based on criteria such as buy/sell positions, market, price, and volume. This tailored approach ensures optimal outcomes and enhances user satisfaction.
